Weimar on Wheels

Today we traveled from New Goloka Dham to Weimar, East Germany.  As per usual, the traffic was stacked up.  It was a public holiday but we also found out that there was an accident.  The accident slows down lanes because it a) takes up 1/2 of the lanes, and b) because people drive by slowly to enjoy another’s suffering.  Sometimes the accident is cleaned up, but the tide of cars is still backed up in the wake of the incident, having disturbed the flow.

We were impatient so we built automobiles.  We extended lanes across the planet, mined minerals to make them, and fire them everyday with chemicals.  Despite all this, we are still waiting, impatiently, and we are no happier than we were before.  Now families live far apart, our produce are grown in South America, and the skies are hazed with gases.  This human race has an interesting logic.

Two Worlds

In Europe, more so than Australia, you get the feeling that you’re living in two worlds.

There is a Castle on the cliff.  I am so excited.  Why though?  I was living in one?  Oh wait…cos this one is all torn up and old and stuff!  Harinamadesh…if it’s not worth the visit for the spiritual vibrancy then THEY HAVE A CASTLE HANGING OVER A CLIFF NEXT DOOR 😀

Over the First Step

Today I finished my BA.  Surely this means I will have some time to blog?  I applied for a Creative Writing course for July.  That means I have about 2 months to blab.  Let’s see if I come up to it guys.  Mad Hatter…is back?
