The tale of two families keeping apart young loves has headed the stage and cinema of our western world for centuries.  Romeo and Juliet were separated by the family tension of the Montague and Capulet clans.  Nonetheless these convicted lovers pushed on with great endeavour to be together.  The story goes that by some freak accident the couple ended up poisoned and died together tragically.  The CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) Medieval England team was the first on the scene.  The story changed in time but their testimonies have recently been revealed.  (more…)

[This an old piece I wrote in 2004 for leisure.  It was going to be a short story or a novel about a boy who was slowly shifting into a parallel reality.  Reality being hard to separate from a dream, subtle changes and life simply being a blur.  I added a little punctuation to smooth it out a bit but left the original content intact.]  (more…)

[In Year 9 we were asked to make a portfolio for English.  Being very lazy I didn’t work on mine until I was “black listed” but this is one article that was put in there.  It is a satire on the first chapter of the Hobbit (so should be read in context).  I will place any current editing in block brackets, to preserve the piece.]

[When I was 13 (2001-02) I started writing and conceiving of a world in which I based countless ideas for novels and associated stories. I drew up sets of images, organized into what soon came to be known as “The Vandra Islands”.  I started to write; first in blunt pencil but soon I found my hands dancing around on the keyboard. I started to copy out my first five chapters but then the computer crashed after I copied down the second. Years later, when I was 17 (2005-06) I started to write again and managed to recover the original chapters from the hard drive (as I had edited them on the computer extensively after I had copied them down). One year or so later I stopped writing these novel series and gave writing a break again, to put some time aside for other things.  It was only a year or so that I decided to embark on the career of a Mad Hatter and taking to the keys yet again.  Finally I now revisit where I started and push on from there once again.]
