This film was made by a film group that I participated in. I started a multimedia course in SAE Byron Bay in 2007 and this was the project for our Digital Film module. It received high distinctions.  (more…)

[This an old piece I wrote in 2004 for leisure.  It was going to be a short story or a novel about a boy who was slowly shifting into a parallel reality.  Reality being hard to separate from a dream, subtle changes and life simply being a blur.  I added a little punctuation to smooth it out a bit but left the original content intact.]  (more…)

[In Year 9 we were asked to make a portfolio for English.  Being very lazy I didn’t work on mine until I was “black listed” but this is one article that was put in there.  It is a satire on the first chapter of the Hobbit (so should be read in context).  I will place any current editing in block brackets, to preserve the piece.]

[When I was 13 (2001-02) I started writing and conceiving of a world in which I based countless ideas for novels and associated stories. I drew up sets of images, organized into what soon came to be known as “The Vandra Islands”.  I started to write; first in blunt pencil but soon I found my hands dancing around on the keyboard. I started to copy out my first five chapters but then the computer crashed after I copied down the second. Years later, when I was 17 (2005-06) I started to write again and managed to recover the original chapters from the hard drive (as I had edited them on the computer extensively after I had copied them down). One year or so later I stopped writing these novel series and gave writing a break again, to put some time aside for other things.  It was only a year or so that I decided to embark on the career of a Mad Hatter and taking to the keys yet again.  Finally I now revisit where I started and push on from there once again.]

[These chapters were originally written when I was 13 years old (in 2001-02) and then edited when I was 17 (in 2006-07) and finally edited by my friend, Malini Trickey (in 2008). I am trying to present them now, mostly untouched, just to keep it as raw as we finished off with those few years back.]

I touched them up a little and I hope to publish the whole novel eventually and possibly work on the continuation of the series. The cheap paint pictures are something I roughed out when I was 17 according to the original sketches, just as a way of reference.]
