[The teacher was pleased with the manner of research, the structure of the essay, and the overall independent expression of opinion and concept.  He did note that I did not use page numbers in some of my references.  This is an accepted practice in modern referencing but perhaps traditional teachers expect this.  I excluded them because where I did not use them I was quoting whole sections or multiple sections of a book, and including the page numbers would have been obsolete.  Mark: 65 B+]   (more…)


[Feedback suggested a nice look into an interesting subject matter with relevant sources.  There were many suggestions of specifics, such as the valid difference between the Vedic ritualists and Purvamimamsas; the scriptural development could have been reduced to a footnote; and a subtitle would have been appropriate.  Mark: 64 B]   (more…)
